What is edamama’s latest app update? 

Starting Sept. 5, 2024, some of the items in our platform are no longer available for gift wrapping services.

What does "Gift Wrapping Not Available" mean?

Gift Wrapping Not Available items are products that cannot be wrapped due to their nature or system limitations. This will be clearly indicated in the app/site when you add or view these items.

How will I know if an item in my order is tagged with “Gift Wrapping Not Available”?

When you add an item to your cart, the system will automatically check its eligibility for gift wrapping. If an item cannot be wrapped, you’ll receive a notification, along with a prompt asking if you’d still like to add the item to your Gift Registry.

Can I still add “Gift Wrapping Not Available” tagged items to my cart?

Yes! However, please note that these items won’t be eligible for gift wrapping. 

In the Gift Registry, this status will be clearly marked for shoppers browsing your list, so they’re aware that certain items cannot be gift-wrapped.

What happens if I try to purchase an item tagged with “Gift Wrapping Not Available” from someone’s Gift Registry?

When shopping from a Gift Registry, you’ll see an indicator next to items that cannot be gift-wrapped. This ensures transparency, so you’ll know ahead of time that these items won’t be gift-wrapped before delivery.

I really want an item wrapped, but it's tagged with “Gift Wrapping Not Available”. What can I do?

If you’d like an item wrapped but it’s marked with “Gift Wrapping Not Available,” our Customer Care team can help you find alternative products that are eligible for gift wrapping. Unfortunately, some items simply cannot be wrapped due to system limitations or the nature of the products.

Why are some items not eligible for gift wrapping?

Certain items cannot be gift-wrapped due to factors like size, shape, or other logistical considerations. Most of these items will be processed directly from our partner sellers and not through our warehouse.

I added items to my registry before September 5, and now they’re marked with “Gift Wrapping Not Available.” What happened?

Before the system update on September 5, some items may have been incorrectly marked as “Gift Wrap Available”. If you placed an order before this date, our team will review these cases individually and inform you if an item cannot be gift-wrapped.
